A scarce early Draped Bust half dollar with a mintage of just 30,289. The 1801 issue is highly sought after in all grades. This PCGS XF40 example offers strong overall detail with even wear and pleasing definition throughout Liberty???s portrait and the reverse eagle. The surfaces are original and attractive, displaying a soft silver-gray patina with subtle darker accents. A well-balanced and desirable mid-grade representative.
