1879-CC $1 Capped Die, VAM-3, MS62 PCGS. A Top 100 Morgan VAM. The remnants of a smaller CC can be detected under the primary mintmark, identifying the VAM-3 ‘Capped Die' variety. This well-detailed MS62 shows just a touch of the usual softness on Liberty's hair above the ear and on the eagle's talons.
