Connecticut June 7, 1776 1s PMG Choice About Unc 58. The Act of June 7, 1776, authorized £60,000 in Treasury Notes due on January 1, 1781. Half of this amount was to be in low denomination notes (6s and below) with the signature of one committee member required. The 1 Shilling denomination was the lowest value issued.
