The Scott publications began in June 1867. Also, J.W. Scott conducted the first stamp auction in the United States on May 28, 1870. The Anderson CT-52 has a few small edge splits and a tiny internal split. Both Scott fixed price lists have had their Confederate and Fractional chapters used as checklists with either pen or pencil. The Scott & Company Colonial, Continental, Confederate, Currency, Their Present Market Value, U.S. Fractional Currency fixed price list has the front card cover loose and back card cover missing.
