North Carolina April 2, 1776 $4 Bee PMG Very Fine 30 Net. Two types of $4 Colonials were emitted as part of this April 2, 1776, issuance. One, which is represented by our current offering, depicts a bee at lower left, while the other contains a sheaf of wheat vignette at lower left. In total, the issue contained 56 varieties, the largest array of variations of any U.S. paper money series. Examples of this number cross our auction block infrequently. PMG mentions that this piece is repaired down its center fold. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
