Virginia October 20, 1777 $6 PMG Very Fine 20. Notes from this issue were printed from the same plates used for the May 1777 emission with the month, date, and last digit of the year written in. The face features the coat of arms of Virginia which had been adopted on July 5, 1776. The design is darkly printed and is complemented by the bold signatures of B. Dickson and James Wray.
