Canada Government of Newfoundland $1 2.1.1920 NF-12d PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 EPQ. A handsome 1 Dollar Treasury Note, these were issued into circulation due to a shortage of silver coins as the price of silver rose. The front features the portrait of King George V at the left and a small blue vignette of a caribou at the right. The back displays a maritime scene.
