Philippines Philippine National Bank 10 Pesos 1912 (ND 1919) Pick 43A PMG Choice Fine 15. In 1919, the Philippines National Bank had a brief cash shortage, and purchased banknotes from the Bank of the Philippine Islands to be overprinted and issued. Three denominations were overprinted in thick black ink, all of which are extremely rare today, with the exact numbers of overprinted notes unknown. We have offered this type only once previously, and at the time of cataloging, PMG has graded only six examples of this overprinted rarity.
