Issued in Singapore, this large-sized blue and purple design is always popular with collectors. This example presents the penultimate date in the series. The front design is bordered by four language obligations, with the Currency Commissioners signature combination of James, Pountney, and Saunders. On the back of this note is the beautiful vignette of a prowling tiger, encircled by an ornate guilloche with framed by four small elephants and four kris daggers, the distinctive Javanese blades.
