China Board of Revenue 3 Taels 1854 (Yr. 4) Pick A10b S/M#H176-11 PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. Ch'ing Dynasty Board of Revenue notes were denominated in Taels. The notes of this series are generally scarcer than the Cash notes that were issued during the same time period. This 3 Taels is simply outstanding, and the time of cataloging, it is the highest graded example in the PMG Population Report to be granted EPQ status. The colors, paper quality, and eye appeal are unmatched. A spindle hole at issue is mentioned for accuracy. A rare type in anything close to this grade, especially with completely original paper.
