China Bank of Agriculture & Commerce 1; 5 Dollars 1.5.1922 Pick A117Aas1; A117Aas2; A117Bas1; A117Bas2 Two Front and Two Back Specimen PMG Uncirculated 62 (2); Choice Uncirculated 63 (2). This lot contains two Specimen notes from the Bank of Agriculture and Commerce, offering a collector the uniface front and back design for each. Each of these graded uniface notes is the single finest graded example in the PMG Population Report at time of cataloging. Both one and five Dollar notes have Specimen overprints—black overprints for the red 1 Dollar note design and red overprints for the green 5 Dollar note design. The Shanghai branch is recorded on the back design above the 1922 date. Both notes carry the signatures of Governor Chi Yao-Shan and Manager T.F. Chen. All are previously mounted.
