A B-3 second restrike of this date, though not noted on the holder - identified by the die file marks at the rim over the word AMERICA and small berries in the wreath on the reverse. A Rarity 6 issue with about 18 known. Trace mint red remains, but likely BN by today's standards. Still, the color matters much less than the scarcity of these collector proofs. Violet, pink, teal, and gold tones mingle across both sides and create a beautiful skin. A few minuscule henpecks on the obverse are noted, yet not overly distracting.
