New Hampshire Land Grant Jan. 11, 1796 Not Graded. Partially typeset document with the large header "Know All Men By These Presents." Written by and signed by Benjamin Norris in the town of Grafton. For the collection of taxes for the town of Dorchester. Also "signed, sealed, and delivered, in the presence of us," David Hale and Thomas Folsom. Docketed on verso. Seen with some edge tears and light toning. Wax seal with triangular wedge at right next to Norris' signature. Benjamin Norris was a captain during the Revolutionary War.
