T7 $100 1861 PF-4 Cr. 11 PMG About Uncirculated 55. After the New Orleans branch of ABNCo struggled to bring production of $50 and $100 notes on line, Secretary Memminger turned to Hoyer & Ludwig to produce admittedly lower quality lithographed notes to fill the breach. This $100 was one of the notes included in this first emission, with 37,515 notes being issued between July 29 and October 22, 1861. The note is boldly printed on bright thin banknote paper and is fully framed, an infrequent occurrence on this type. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
