T8 $50 1861 PF-2 Cr. 15/17 PCGS Banknote Choice Unc 63. A total of 123,564 $50s of this type were printed by Hoyer & Ludwig and issued between July 20 and October 22, 1861. This note is well printed on thick bond paper which did not betray its unsuitability for banknote use since this note saw little, if any, time in circulation.
