T8 $50 1861 PF-8 Cr. 20 PCGS Apparent Choice About New 55. After the small number of T5s and T6s produced by the SBNCo due to their inability to fulfill the Confederacy's large quantity orders, the South contracted with Hoyer & Ludwig, a lithography firm in Richmond, VA, to print this type. Emitted from July 29 through October 22, 1861, this type's design includes a portrait of George Washington at center and Tellus with a globe at left. Ink erosion in the signatures is present, though it is not distracting. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
