T10 $10 1861 PF-20 Cr. 37 PMG Very Fine 20. After the New Orleans branch of ABNCo faltered in being able to deliver sufficient quantities of bank notes, the Department of the Treasury turned to hometown printer Hoyer & Ludwig to fill the void. Just under 171,000 T10s were issued between July 25 and November 2, 1861. This type is remembered as the first depicting the Confederate national banner which appears in the shield in the center vignette. While the note has seen time in circulation, it has survived the experience without attracting any repairs or meaningful impairments. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
