1880-S $1 MS68 NGC. Cool, frosted silver luster adorns this piece with reflective but visually frosty fields as well with some golden toning right of the eagle. The strike is faultless with no marks or abrasions that would obscure the coin's appeal. While the issue enjoys an appreciable extant population in Superb Gem, finding a numerically finer example than this will be a hard-wrought endeavor.
