1881-S $1 MS68 NGC. The 1881-S has the second largest mintage from the San Francisco Mint (a little under 12.8 million coins), though is rare beyond the MS68 grade with just two reported numerically finer at NGC (6/26). This example displays light rosy-silver luster, accompanied by a phenomenally struck visage with no points of weakness.
