1883-S $1 MS63 PCGS. The 1883-S had an impressive mintage at over 6.2 million examples, though that was a decrease of 3 million from a year prior. The date is plentiful through MS64, though finer coins are rare and out of reach for most collectors. Lustrous silver luster caresses this piece and has a remarkable cartwheel effect. There are a myriad of minor marks, though none prove too garish. The piece is well-struck and is a respectable example of this conditionally challenging date. From The Cole Carter Collection.
