A fantastic Washington Liberty & Security Penny, PCGS reports just four finer at the RB level with only a single known full Red example extant! Impressively struck and beautifully preserved with great luster and pleasing steely blue and pink iridescence, highlighting the otherwise milk chocolate-toned surfaces. Minor planchet roughness on the shoulder and a nearby thin mark provide the sole imperfections. The curious edge ridges and depressions are as made and are diagnostic for Baker-30.
