Rio de la Plata 8 Soles 1815 PTS-FL MS62 NGC, Potosi mint, KM15, CJ-6.1. An iconic one-year type and one of a handful of impressive "Sun Face" issues to grace this auction. Extremely scarce in Mint State, with this example being the highest graded of the non S/R overpunch variety, the specimen beams with originality, though some light hits prevent a Choice designation.
