1795 50C 2 Leaves, O-117, T-3, R.3, VF25 PCGS. CAC. Tompkins Die State 2/1. The O-117 variety is available in circulated grades but becomes scarce in its late die state. A strong die line sits beneath the right side of Y of LIBERTY and a die crack runs upward toward the bust tip between the date and star 15. This VF example displays slate-gray patina visited by lavender-silver accents. The coin is well-defined with strong rims for the grade. the upper obverse retains some reflective properties where partially iridescent fields deliver colorful contrast. A loupe reveals faint adjustment marks and scattered pinscratches on the obverse, although otherwise no mentionable abrasions are noted. CAC endorsement ensures high quality for the VF25 level.
