1808 50C O-107a, R.3, AU58 NGC. Scintillating surfaces remain untoned and retain ample luster. The strike is stronger than is typically found on 1808 half dollars, with notable weakness confined to the curls around the TY in LIBERTY. The 1808 O-107 is notable for having the center dot quadrupled between the eagle's neck and the wing. The present offering is a late die state, having the crack through star 5 to the cap that is the hallmark of O-107a. However, it still lacks the cracks through the date from BHNC Die State 107.3.
