1809 50C Normal Edge, O-103, R.2, MS63 S NGC. CAC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green / Eric P. Newman Collection. Vivid shades of cobalt-blue and emerald-green toning surround the brilliant centers, typical of coins from old-time collections that were stored in Wayte Raymond albums. The piece is free of slide marks and displays vibrant mint luster throughout, and is well-deserving of the NGC star designation. The obverse of the O-103 is shared with the available O-105 and the rare O-104, where the reverse is not used on any other die marriage. Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R.
