1856-D G$1 AU53 NGC. Winter 8-K. The Dahlonega Mint was able to participate in just six of the first years of the Type Three Indian Princess design, producing 1,460 coins for its inaugural year. The strike is decent with some weakness present along Liberty's hair which is expected of the issue and is somewhat furthered by light wear.
