Block of Eight Fr. 1311 50¢ First Issue PMG About Uncirculated 53 EPQ. While there are vertical pairs and a few vertical strips of four known for this Friedberg number, this offering is the only known block of eight for Fr. 1311. There are folds between each of the notes and a couple of other light horizontal folds, but the perforations are solid all around, though the bottom two notes have one straight edge. The block still retains its brilliant ink colors and is fully original. This block crossed the $5,000 threshold in our April 2018 Central States auction and is rare enough to do so again.
