"Inverted Back" Error Austin, TX- Republic of Texas $10 July 25, 1840 Cr. A5 Medlar 25 PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. Republic of Texas $10s are plentiful; Republic of Texas $10 notes with inverted backs are not. In fact, this is the first Republic of Texas $10 with an inverted back that we have offered. It joins only four other such errors from this series of which we are aware; all different denominations- a $5, $20, $50, and $500.
