Cutting and Gutter Fold Errors Fr. 2173-G $100 1990 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. Multiple errors are observed on this nicely preserved plate letter E4 Chicago $100. The first error is a long and wide gutter fold that occurred after the back first printing and before the third printing of the overprint. The gutter ran from the left edge to the right edge on the face. Later after cutting, the gutter opened up splitting the district and Treasury Seals by approximately 10 mm.
