Cutting Error Fr. 2075-L $20 1985 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. A dramatic cutting error showing large parts of two L-C block $20s and two different serial numbers. Approximately 60% is of one note with serial number 72556399 and approximately 40% is the bottom note with serial number 72656399. We have offered four different examples of this cutting error from this miscut Series 1985 $20 print run since February 2005, but our current offering is the highest graded example. The previous high was a PMG 64 EPQ note that realized $2,280 in October 2025. If there are any skeptics, the BEP did not begin to sell $20 uncut sheets until March 1, 2010.
