Fr. 28 $1 1880 Legal Tender PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. With balanced margins, bold color, and bright paper surfaces, this lovely, near-Gem 1880 Legal Ace is undoubtedly among the nicest that a collector will find for this number. Fr. 28 notes are offered infrequently at this level, and we have not auctioned an example at the 64 or 64 EPQ levels since September 2023, when a PMG 64 EPQ certified representative brought $2,040.
