Fr. 118 $10 1901 Legal Tender PCGS Banknote Choice Unc 64 PPQ. High quality Fr. 118 Bison $10 Legals do not often cross our auction block. In fact, we have not previously been afforded the opportunity to offer a CU or higher graded example of this number encapsulated by either of the major third party grading services. This spectacular piece, which is the only note at this grade level listed in Track & Price, is the finest note of this number certified by PCGS Banknote, with a healthy margin between it and the next highest encapsulated representative, graded at the PCGS Banknote AU 55 level. According to the PMG Population Report, a whopping two examples are certified higher than the 64 EPQ level, with none at this grade. Prospective buyers will easily be able to identify why this magnificent beauty has attained this lofty level, as this note exhibits myriad desirable attributes, including deep embossing of the serial number, "X - TEN", and Treasury Seal elements, vibrant red overprint and green back ink colors, and wonderfully fresh, original paper surfaces. We will estimate conservatively and let our bidders decide this splendid piece's true value. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
