1794 1C Head of 1794, Short Bust, S-44, B-33, R.1, XF40 PCGS. Heck Die State DS7. This is an interesting late die state of the S-44 die marriage, with advanced die cracks on both sides. Medium chocolate brown coloration is very pleasing. Well struck with full rims and good definition of hair curls. Only scattered light abrasions are seen, with a small circulation mark just below the jawline noted for accuracy. This is an eye-appealing example of the Head of 1794, Sheldon 44 variety within the popular Liberty Cap cent series. HID06601242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
