1877 1C MS64 Brown PCGS. Deep oak-brown luster and light copper-orange undertones rest toward the outer portions of this example. The strike is strong, with good detail, and only some minor marks are present in the interior of the wreath. The 1877 issue grows conditionally scarce beyond MS64 Brown at PCGS, with just 20 coins seen finer in that color category by the grading service. Among the 100 Greatest U.S. Coins.
