A handsome Bank of Afghanistan 1000 Afghanis, this note showcases the accomplished printing of Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. in rich brown and purple tones. The front features King Muhammad Zahir, the final king of Afghanistan before the monarchy was abolished in 1973, while the back displays a detailed city landscape and mountainous background.
