Argentina Daniel Gonzalez y Ca. 1 Peso Plata Boliviana 1.5.1876 Pick S1974a PMG Choice Fine 15 Net. An extremely scarce variety, this offering represents the sole example recorded in the PMG Population Report at time of cataloging and marks the first time we have offered it at auction. Issued in the province of Mendoza, the Daniel González y Compañía operated between 1866 and 1879, producing only a handful of denominations. While the company also produced another 1 Peso Plata Boliviana, the design for the banknote offered here is the first highly detailed note of the series, featuring a large condor on the front, one of Argentina's national symbols. Tape repairs and thinning are mentioned on the holder. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
