Bahamas Central Bank 50 Dollars 1974 (ND 1992) Pick 55 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. A tasteful design, this high denomination is rendered in brown with highlights of bright orange and blue. The front bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with a lighthouse, map, and sand dollar. This represents the penultimate use of this particular portrait, before the succeeding series introduced a new engraving of the Queen. It would appear only once more, on a one-off design issued in 2002. The attractive printing is further complemented by an Exceptional Paper Quality designation.
