Barbados Government of Barbados 5 Dollars 1.12.1939 Pick 4a PMG Choice Very Fine 35. The vivid ink and detailed engraving on this 5 Dollars is impressively clear. It features a striking violet and blue front design, complemented by a red and green back. This banknote stands alone as the single finest example recorded in the PMG Population Report at time of cataloging. Aside from just one other note, every recorded example grades no higher than Very Fine 25—a full ten points below the example offered here. Such a dramatic gap underscores the scarcity of this type in high grades, and a comment-free holder further adds to its appeal. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
