Barbados Central Bank 100 Dollars ND (1997) Pick 53a Commemorative PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. At time of cataloging, only five examples are recorded in higher grades in the PMG Population Report. This banknote was designed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Central Bank of Barbados, which was established by an Act of Parliament in 1972. Before the bank's establishment, Barbados' monetary policy was administered by the East Caribbean Currency Authority, which served several Caribbean territories.
