Mount Kinabalu, the highest peak in Maritime Southeast Asia, appears as the central vignette on this handsome 10 Dollar note, continuing a motif found throughout British North Borneo paper money. The back bears the distinctive rhombus guilloche unique to the 10 Dollar denomination. At time of cataloging, only two examples of this variety are recorded in higher grades in the PMG Population Report, with none exceeding Very Fine 30.
