Ceylon Central Bank of Ceylon 5 Rupees 3.6.1952 Pick 51 PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. A truly appealing example, the 5 Rupees note is tied for the highest graded recorded in the PMG Population Report at time of cataloging. Considering that more than 170 examples are recorded in total, this represents an impressive condition, only enhanced by its Exceptional Paper Quality status. Aside from its condition, the note is very striking. A beautiful example of the skilled engraving of Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., the front features the popular portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II.
