France Banque de France 100 Francs 28.1.1875 Pick 52b PMG Very Fine 20. Primarily printed in blue, this beautiful note has a gentle palette that provides an appealing contrast to its busy design. both sides are decorated with Classical motifs and allegorical figures, with Agriculture and Fortune are pictured at left and Mercury and Industry at right. The figures are accompanied by an assemblage of their symbolic accessories and framed by a vine-like banner populated with flying cherubs. Despite the minor rust, pinholes, and tear repair mentioned on the holder, the note has a strong eye appeal. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
