France Banque de France 50 Nouveaux Francs on 5000 Francs 30.10.1958 Pick 139a PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. This vivid banknote hails from a colorful series of Nouveaux Francs overprints issued as provisional paper money to bridge the gap between the old and new currencies before newly designed notes were ready. While the design is not exceptionally scarce, this Nouveaux Francs version is considerably more difficult to acquire.
