Iran Kingdom of Persia, Imperial Bank, Teheran 1 Toman 11.8.1928 Pick 11 PMG Very Fine 20 Net. This fantastic Kingdom of Persia note is the smallest denomination of the 1924 issue, and is the only design in the series to feature the portrait of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar in his military uniform and a feathered fez at left, and the framed watermark at right. The portrait and engraving remain remarkably crisp and clear, despite the note's age and the reconstructed and repaired comments mentioned on the holder. This distinctive pink, green and black design bears a "PAYABLE AT TEHERAN" inscription on the back, identifying one of the Imperial Bank's prominent branches.
