Iran Bank Melli 20 Rials ND (1944) Pick 41s Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Tied with one other note as the finest graded example in the PMG Population Report at time of cataloging, this Specimen boasts Exceptional Paper Quality and a vivid orange design. The series introduced the three-quarter portrait of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi in military uniform, following the abdication of his father in 1941. This mid-series denomination retained the design of the preceding issues, helping to ease the transition between the two monarchs. A large "CANCELLED" identifies its Specimen status.
