Iran Bank Markazi 500 Rials 1966 Pick UNL Printer's Design PMG Choice About Unc 58. A handsome and unusual prototype, virtually exact to the 1969 500 Rials, but with the slightest differences in the portrait of the Shah. Hole punched cancelled and with printer notations in the top margin. Mounting remnants are mentioned for accuracy. It appears that series of banknotes issued in 1969 were in the creation stage three years prior, with this awesome prototype being an extremely rare survivor of that design phase.
