Austin, TX- Republic of Texas $2 June 1, 1841 Cr. A2 Medlar 22 PMG Very Fine 25. Always popular thanks to its Wild West steer roping vignette, this small denomination note was issued to provide assistance in conducting day-to-day commerce. The note has a bit of ink bleed around some of the handwritten information but is free of repairs and meaningful impairments aside from the usual cut cancels.
