T12 $5 1861 PF-1 Cr. 49 PMG Very Fine 20. This $5 design, the sole Confederate issue printed by Jules Manouvrier (the companion $10 was never placed in circulation due to a shipment theft that also resulted in Manouvrier's contract being canceled), was unique on two counts at the time it was issued.
