CT39/290A Counterfeit $100 1862 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. While this contemporary checks all of the boxes for a contemporary counterfeit including six windows in the third passenger car and three distinct dark clouds above the ship, the most interesting diagnostic is the date May 17, 1863, more than eight months after the last T39 was actually issued in September 1862. PMG mentions some minor paper thinning which is not overly distracting. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
