T39 $100 1862 PF-2 Cr. UNL PCGS Banknote Very Fine 25. A short five day run of T39 notes issued between May 5 and May 9, 1862 was printed by Hoyer & Ludwig before Paterson took over printing T39s. Collecting a short set of all five dates of issue has always been a popular pursuit. This note was issued on the first day, May 5, 1862, and bears three IP stamps tracing its journey during the war. In 1863 interest was paid in Augusta, GA before the note appears to have spent the remainder of the war in Charleston, SC. A clean note that is free of repairs and meaningful impairments.
